Game Day: Results and Completing Rounds

Follow player-submitted scores, enter or fix results yourself, and complete each round.

Once a round has started, players enter results in the Battle Hub and you follow them on Game Day > Pairings, fill any gaps and complete the round.

Scores during the round

One player submits the result for both sides and their opponent confirms. Scores appear on the tab as they come in, and each table's button changes from Score to Scored.

To enter or fix a score yourself, click Score (or Scored) on the table, fill in the sections and click Submit Score (Update Score if it was already scored). Your score always wins over what players submitted, so this is also how you settle a dispute.

BYEs are scored automatically with the BYE points from your scoring setup.

If you drop a player during an Active round, they stay in their current match so you can score it, and are left out of the next round.

Complete the round

  1. When every table has its battle score, click Complete Round 1 (the number matches the round). Until then the button is greyed out; hover over it to see how many matches still need scores.
  2. Standings are recalculated. If Public live pairings is on, followers are emailed the round standings.
  3. Click Start Pairing Round 2 and repeat: pair, publish, start, score, complete.

Soft scores do not hold up a round and can be entered at any time. Before you complete the final round, check they are all in: you get a Check Soft Scores warning as a reminder.

To correct a score in a completed round, click Scored, then Unlock in the section you need. For other fixes, see Fixing Mistakes on Game Day.
