Scoring: Battle Results
Enter Victory Points, battle objectives, and submit your game result.
After your game finishes and the round enters the Active or Scoring state, either player can submit the match result from the Battle Hub.
Submitting a score
On the Match tab, click Enter Score below the player cards to open the score entry form. The header reminds you: "Enter the result for both players. Your opponent will confirm."
Step 1: enter Victory Points
Two side-by-side fields appear: Your VP and Opponent VP. You enter both values. At least one VP must be non-zero before you can submit.
Step 2: outcome calculation
How the result is determined depends on the scoring mode the organiser has configured.
Win-Loss-Draw (WLD) mode. The outcome is calculated automatically from the VP comparison: higher VP is a Win, lower VP is a Loss, equal VP is a Draw. A read-only result indicator (W, L, or D) shows below the VP fields. You do not select it; it is worked out from the numbers.
Differential mode. The VP differential determines base Tournament Points (TP) using a conversion table. For example, using the standard Matched Play table:
- 0 to 300 VP difference - Draw: winner 3 TP, loser 3 TP.
- 301 to 600 - Minor Victory 4 TP, Minor Loss 2 TP.
- 601 to 950 - Regular Victory 5 TP, Regular Loss 1 TP.
- 951 or more - Crushing Victory 6 TP, Crushing Loss 0 TP.
After entering VP, a line shows the base Battle Points from the VP differential, for example "VP Differential: 5 - 1 BP".
Step 3: battle objectives (if configured)
If the organiser has set up battle criteria (scenario objectives, secondary missions, and so on), two sections appear below the VP fields: Your Battle Objectives and Opponent's Battle Objectives. Each objective may have multiple criteria, scored as either a rubric (a checklist of items worth set points, tick the ones achieved) or a numeric input (a single number within a min-max range).
Step 4: calculated result preview
In Differential mode, after entering VP and objectives, a Calculated Result section shows the full breakdown: base BP from the VP differential, bonus BP from objectives, total TP for each player, and the final outcome based on total TP. This lets you verify the result before submitting.
Step 5: submit
Click Submit Score to send the result. Your scores and your opponent's scores are submitted together in one go. After submitting, you enter the confirmation flow (see Scoring: Confirm & Edit).
Editing before confirmation
If you realise you made a mistake, you can edit your submission before your opponent confirms. See Scoring: Confirm & Edit for details.
