Registering & Pairing as a Team
How registration, army lists, and pairings work for doubles and team events.
Registering for a doubles or team event follows the same path as a singles event, with a few team-specific details to know.
Registering
You register through the event's registration page just as you would for singles: sign in, make sure you have a player profile, and complete the registration (free, paid via Stripe, or offline, depending on the event). Each player registers under their own account so their results attach to their own profile.
How teams are formed (nominating a partner, choosing a team name, or being grouped by the organiser) is set up per event. Your organiser's player pack will explain how to link up with your partner or team for their event. If you are unsure, contact the organiser before the registration deadline.
Army lists
Every player submits their own army list for their own faction, from their own registration confirmation page, exactly as in singles. Your faction shows on your player card throughout the event. Check the player pack for any list-building rules specific to the format, such as shared restrictions across a team.
Check-in
Each player checks in individually from the Battle Hub on event day. Make sure every member of your team checks in so your pairings and scoring work smoothly.
Pairings
Once the organiser posts pairings, the Match and Pairings tabs show your matchup with your team context:
- Your player card shows your team name and your partner (name and faction).
- The opposing team is shown the same way.
- Your table number tells you where to play.
You can open any opponent's army list from their player card to review it before the game.
