Submit Your Army List

Most tournaments require you to submit your army list before the event. You can do this from the registration confirmation page as soon as you have registered.

How to submit

On the confirmation page, find the Army List card and click Submit Army List (or Edit Army List if you have already submitted one). This opens a dialog where you choose your faction and enter your list.

List types

• Old World Builder - paste the JSON export from the Old World Builder app. OWR detects your faction automatically from the list data.
• Plain text - type or paste your list as free-form text. You select your faction manually from the dropdown.

Faction selection

If you paste an Old World Builder JSON list, your faction is detected automatically. For plain text lists, choose your faction from the dropdown. Your faction is displayed on pairings, standings, and your player card throughout the event.

Submission deadline

Organisers can set a list submission deadline, shown on your confirmation page under Next Steps, for example "Submit your army list by Sat, Feb 28, 2026". You can edit your list as many times as you like before the deadline. After the deadline passes, submissions are locked.

List approval

Once submitted, your list enters one of these states:

• List Submitted (amber) - submitted and waiting for organiser review.
• List Approved (green) - the organiser has reviewed and approved your list.
• List Required (red) - you have not submitted a list yet (shown in the Battle Hub on event day).

You receive an email notification when the organiser approves your list.

Viewing opponent lists

During the tournament you can view your opponent's army list from the Match tab in the Battle Hub. Each player card links to their submitted list, so you can review what you are up against before the game begins.
