Find & Register for a Tournament

OWR lists every upcoming Warhammer: The Old World tournament in your region. Once you have found an event you would like to attend, registering takes just a few clicks.

Finding a tournament

There are a few ways to discover events:

• Upcoming Events - the main events page shows all upcoming tournaments in your region, sorted by date.
• Search - use the search bar in the top navigation to find tournaments by name.
• Region selector - switch regions using the dropdown to browse events in other countries.

Each listing shows the key details at a glance: name, dates, venue, player cap, army points, number of rounds, and entry fee.

Registering

From the tournament page, click Register. You will see a registration screen showing the event details: dates, venue, rounds, points, player cap, and entry fee.

Requirements

Before you can register, you need two things:

1. An OWR account. If you are not logged in, you will see Sign In and Create Account buttons. After signing in you are redirected straight back to the registration page.
2. A player profile. If you do not have one yet, you will be prompted to Create Player Profile. This links your account to a player record for rankings and results.

Once both are in place, you will see a Registering as card with your name and regional rank.

Free events

For free tournaments, click Register. You will be asked to confirm. Click Confirm Registration and you are in.

Paid events (Stripe)

If the event has an entry fee and accepts payments through OWR, click Register & Pay. You are taken to a Stripe checkout page to complete payment. Once payment succeeds, your registration is confirmed automatically.

Paid events (offline payment)

Some organisers handle payments outside of OWR. In that case you will see a Register button with a confirmation dialog that shows the entry fee and notes that payment details will be provided by the organiser.

Full tournaments and waitlist

If all spots are taken, you can still Join Waitlist. You are placed in a queue and notified if a spot opens up. Your waitlist position is shown on the confirmation page.

Confirmation page

After registering, you land on the confirmation page. This shows:

• Status header - your registration state: Confirmed, Waitlisted, or Payment Pending.
• Waitlist position - your place in the queue, if waitlisted.
• Payment card - a Pay Now button if payment is still required.
• Tournament card - event summary with dates, venue, and your faction.
• Army list card - submit or update your army list.
• Next steps - reminders to submit your army list by the deadline and check in on event day.
• Refund card - request a refund if you are within the refund window.

From here you can also go to View My Events (your dashboard) or View Tournament (the public event page).
