How do players find out about pairings and results?
The automatic emails OWR sends, and how to pause them.
OWR emails them automatically at each step, so you do not need to send anything yourself.
- Round Pairings: when you click Publish Pairings. If you change a published round, only the players whose pairing changed are emailed again.
- Score Confirmation Nudge: a few minutes after an opponent enters a score the player has not confirmed.
- Final Results: when you complete the tournament.
- Tournament Reminder (24 hours before and the morning of), Check-in Reminder (each event day) and List Reminder (3 days and 24 hours before the list deadline).
Followers get round standings only if Public live pairings is on in Dates & Payment.
To pause these emails, for example while you test pairings, turn off Player notifications enabled in Setup > Communications > Email Settings and click Save. To see what players get, use Preview Notifications on the same screen.
