Do I have to take entry fees through OWR?
Run a free event, or take payment yourself by bank transfer or cash.
No. You can run a free event, or collect the money yourself by bank transfer or cash. Neither option needs a Stripe account.
Both are set on Setup > Dates & Payment:
- Free event: leave Amount at 0.
- Paying you directly: turn off Accept payments via OWR and enter your fee in Amount. Players see the amount, but nobody is charged through OWR.
Click Save in the top bar when you are done.
If your event does take payments through OWR and someone pays you cash at the door instead, mark them as paid: on Attendees, open the ⋮ menu on their row, choose Edit and turn on Payment Status.
